Non GamStop Casinos UK Essential Info for 2026

Casinos that sit outside GamStop are online gambling sites licensed by bodies other than the UKGC. Since its launch in 2018, the scheme now covers all UKGC-licensed casinos, sportsbooks and bingo sites. This guide explains how casinos operating outside GamStop are licensed, which payment methods tend to process fastest, and what’s worth looking into before joining any casino. So, any casinos and betting sites that are not licensed or regulated by this organization are also not registered with the GamStop scheme.

Selecting a platform that holds a valid licence from a recognised overseas regulatory authority is an important consideration when assessing these sites. A UK casino operating beyond GamStop’s jurisdiction simply has no means of checking or blocking your self-exclusion status. You should use the same criteria to evaluate every site not on Gamstop you consider playing at. The table below outlines the trust signals that distinguish a well-run offshore site from one that warrants greater caution.

Curacao Gaming Control Board

• Malta Gaming Authority is one of the most respected gambling regulators in the world.
• Nevertheless, they’re all well-designed, high-quality games you’ll enjoy playing.
• You can categorize the games according to your taste in no more than a couple of clicks.
• Established in 1999, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is one of online gambling’s longest-running regulatory bodies, currently overseeing several hundred operators from its base in Canada.

By early 2026, over 400,000 individuals had self-excluded through the service, a figure that reflects both growing awareness and shifting attitudes toward responsible play. That background means we spot red flags (vague withdrawal policies, missing licence numbers) before they become your problem. The process mirrors any standard online registration, though you should have ID documents ready for KYC checks. Operator compliance agreements and regional restrictions limit their availability offshore, so check the cashier before registering. Deposits typically clear instantly, though withdrawal speeds depend on the method you choose. A licence displayed in the footer means nothing if it cannot be independently verified.

CASINOS NOT ON GAMSTOP

Unlike GamStop, GamBlock is a device-side tool rather than a scheme that operators participate in. Casinos not on GamBlock are platforms that fall outside GamBlock’s specific block list. You also get access to cryptocurrency payments, streamlined KYC processes, and faster payouts. These controls operate at platform level rather than through a centralised scheme, and self-exclusion at one casino does not carry across to others. Casinos not on GamBan or GamBlock are simply platforms that fall outside each tool’s block list, which is updated periodically.

Loyalty programmes offered by casinos that sit outside GamStop typically work by awarding points based on how much a player stakes, with wagering accumulating points that can later be exchanged for bonus credit or free spins. Casinos operating outside GamStop tend to promote larger headline bonuses than UKGC-licensed sites, largely because offshore operators have greater flexibility in how they structure their promotions. Game libraries at UK casinos not on GamStop are often broader than those at UKGC-licensed sites, partly because offshore sites face fewer provider-level restrictions.
